Mondavio is a little and nice village in the
innerland of Pesaro, surrounded by green and flowers. Visiting
the village would be like reliving a fascinating historical age.
It means to see architectural presences left intact, to discover
a fascinating landscape, to get immersed in the shadow of secular
gardens while breathing pure air, to listen to the ancient
silence that the narrows streets, the houses and every corner
offer plentfully to the tourist.
Location. It is about 15 miles from the Adriatic see and the beaches of Fano, Marotta and Senigallia. Placed on a half-hill, whose clima is ideal for a Spring or early Autumn's holiday.
Connections. It is reached from the airports of Falconara and Rimini and by train getting off at the stations of Pesaro, Fano, or Senigallia if you arrive from north or at Fabriano in case you are travelling from Rome. There is a bus service running from the train stations to Mondavio. The motorway runs nearby, exits at Fano and Marotta. It is linked to the innerland through the Flaminia way (Rome, Perugia, Fossombrone-Mondavio) and a state road from Rome via Foligno, Fabriano, Pergola Mondavio.
